Revival
Paz de Cristo everyone! I feel so humbled and grateful for what God is doing! I just finished preaching my first revival in the state of Iowa. I have aunts that live here in Iowa and have been wanting me to come and visit them so they had it in their heart to suggest this revival. I'm sure at first the members here just thought my aunts main reason for inviting me was just for the visit. But God definitely had other things in mind. The first night of the revival there was deliverance all throughout the building. People who hasn't spoken in tongues in over a year were weeping and speaking in tongues. A lady from whom we rented the church was in attendance too. After the message and move of the spirit, she called her pastor and told him he had to go the next day to listen! The pastor showed up the second day and The Lord blessed him! Women (visitors) who were there the first night went the second day completely different. They had joy and were dancing in the spirit during the service. The presence of God moved so powerfully! Young people were encouraged and faith was built and instilled in others! God is surely doing a work! I'm humbled because the church is already planning the next youth revival before the year is over and they want me to return. I turn to you, the reader, to pray God's continued grace, anointing, and favor to be over me! In Jesus Name!!!

10 years later
Earlier this week marked 10 years ago that I had a life changing event take place in my life. Growing up as a child and through Jr high, I had dreams of being a great football player. So much time and effort was put into my goal of becoming great that I would miss church regularly. My relationship with the Lord was growing cold. All this time I felt the Lord tugging at my heart because he had greater things for me. Instead of heeding to His call, I ignored it and continued to pursue my own dreams and goals. I was FINALLY going to be able to play high school football with the hopes of getting a scholarship when the Lord allowed the life changing incident to take place. I tore my ACL (major ligament in ones knee) along with tendons. My dream was shattered. I had to have total knee reconstructive surgery. But little did I know, this was all part of God's plan. Now that I was unable to play, I began to attend church regularly again and began to grow my relationship with the Lord once again. Later that year I preached my first message and God began to open up doors left and right. I stand here 10 years later because of that injury I suffered. Thanks be to God for His grace and mercy towards me! And for the honor and glory of God, I was interviewed today by the district board to be initiated into the ministry! What a mighty god we serve!
Don't make the same mistake I made. When the Lord is calling you, don't run or ignore the call. I always say my testimony is much like Jonah's. In the end, God allowed something in our lives to get our attention and to get our focus straight. As its been said, a smart person learns from their mistakes but a wise man learns from the mistake of others. Be wise! God Bless!

Ahhhh!!!!
I feel like I need to post something because my head is gonna explode lol. My life in the past month or so has been filled with stressful news, events, and days! So many times, I wish I can go back in time to correct my procrastination problem that has put me in these predicaments but obviously that isn't possible. However, I thank God because, at the end of the day, I have hope in him! I trust in His timing even when I don't see it or understand it! I have a blessed hope that at the end of this all, everything will be all right! Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in His name! So, in the name of Jesus, I declare victory, resolve, and peace of mind in all these situations, the ones to come, and all those in your life (whoever may be reading this). God is good ALL the time! And remember, Jesus at the center of it all! Over and out! :)

Leading Worship
I had to write another post because I can't stop thinking about our Sunday worship service!!! I was unexpectedly asked to lead the worship a couple of hours before the service. I was bummed because I didn't think the service would go good without having practiced any songs with the praise team an musicians. Oh how I was mistaken, The Lord took over the service and brothers and sisters that I have NEVER seen run the aisle or dance in the spirit took off! Surely the Lord was doing a work. With all of that said, It most definitely is not about us or how we sound with the music. If we step aside ourselves and let God be God and have his way, lives will be blessed as mine was! In Jesus name!!!

UrMine Restoration???
At the beginning of the year, I began restoring old furniture and selling them. It started out only to raise money for my eventual wedding (to the wonderful woman of my dreams). However, what I didn't expect was for me to find a new hobby. I love working with wood and bring back to life what was once forgotten. I have found my retirement job lol. Still trying to decide what the business is going to be named?? Maybe UrMine (the first letters of my name and the last letters of Jasmine's name, "You're Mine"). Praise God for the success He has brought this business so far! I restore furniture, He restores lives! Mmmmmm!!! :)

One of those nights
Wow, it's been one of those nights where I just go on a rant! I've had a excellent week up to this point but there were just some frustrations that mounted up and I talked...and talked...and talked!! Lol I thank God for my wonderful girlfriend who always listens to me when I have these moments. Although it isn't very often that I have these moments, I still have them and she is there to listen. She is quite wonderful! Thank you Jesus! :) at the end of all of my talking/complaining, I'm calm because I realize how blessed I am to have Jasmine in my life! :) God is too good!

J4J
I have the privilege of being the Junior Director for my local church this year. It must have been about 5 years ago that the Lord spoke through a dream telling me this would be the path He wants me on. It's amazing to see how God has moved all the pieces together to fulfill the prophecy of the dream spoken 5 years ago. When you honor God and always place Him first and at the center of everything, He will guide you and open ip doors that only He can open and close.
These young juniors are at such a critical age. Many of them are making or will make decisions that will effect their lives as some, if not most, will decide whether to serve God or follow their path. I can only pray that God uses me to make an impact in all of their lives and direct them in the way of the Lord! In Jesus Name!

Humble Pie
I need to do a better job at accepting correction. I says get defensive. I guess I've built these defensive walls up to protect from all my haters! Lol. As its been said "haters gonna hate!" Regardless of the fact, I need to take a bite of some humble pie and accept correction! I ask anyone who reads this to continue to pray for me! :)
Reflections
Reflecting on the journey that God has taken me throughout the years to get to where I am at now. It most definitely has not been an easy one. I've had many frustrations, tears shed, and lonely times but it has been through these hard times in my life that I have learned some of the most valuable lessons. Along with these difficult times in my life, there have been many great times. I've heard prophecies over my life and ministry, seen miracles performed through me, and seen the Lord take me to knew heights. Through all the ups and downs in my life, I thank the Lord for this incredible journey he has taken and will continue to take me on. Thank God for grace!
